Are Black Rappers to Blame When a White Rapper Uses the N-Word?

With criticism growing by the day of a white female rapper’s use of the N-word (V-Nasty), people are beginning to speak out. Andy Milonakis,a white actor, who often imitates hip-hop culture, has decided to defend V-nasty’s use of the N-word.

On a clip posted on YouTube by the actor himself, Milonakis said, “My problem is people spinning their own f—–g idea of another human being that they don’t f—–g know. That to me is ignorant. Have you ever been to a ‘hood? Have you ever been to Atlanta, or East Oakland? Every race drops the N-bomb. You’re dissing someone who is on your team.”

The N-word was thrown around by Blacks long before Hip-Hop became the most dominant force in pop culture. Go back and look at old Black comics (Richard Pryor, Robin Harris, Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx, etc.) who used the word just as liberally as many of today’s MCs. I hate when folks act like Hip-Hop invented the word “nigga” and that those within the culture magically make everybody say it. Finding the root of the word’s usage will require more digging and thought. Blaming Hip-Hop is the lazy way out.

Amen brother; The N-Word started back during the slavery times…It started way back in 1800’s; I don’t know why we keep discussing this issue when the new generation is keeping it a float I hate it…

It is interesting that you brothers keep referring to this disparaging racial epithet as the N Word and the N Bomb, when I have heard the word nigger used on mainstream television and in other mainstream forms of media several times today, by White people.  It is becoming that casual in our conversations.  Quite often Black celebrities (chiefly rappers) are the champions of this word and the destructive, dysfunctional behaviors which accompany this word.  I have written a book “Niggerology 101 (The Basic Nigger Lesson Plan), which is designed to lead our people out of this dangerously destructive and injudicious way of thinking.  Yes the word was created even before the enslavement of our people, and it was used to aid in the dehumanizing process of our people (as it is today); and therefore the Ancestors now task us with the task of leading our people back onto the path of prosperity and sanity.

First, Andy Milonakis is a nonentity and jerk….  MXL, what was said back in the day was for black entertainment only, exploiting the negative.Secondly, the black ratters are to blame for the perpetuation of the disgusting word. We as a people are supposed to progress beyond passe’ comic terminology whiles teaching respect for each other, young and aged. I do not permit hip-hop of any form in “my” house, you’ll wear your pants properly in  “my” house, you will not use profane or disgusting terminology in “my” house! What you do in your house, hey it’s on you, but how did you feel when your “homey’s” son responded to your telling him to not jump on your furniture saying  “NO, STFU NIGGA”!! I just wonder where this four year old heard such, I’m sure it wasn’t at home?? (note the sarcasm)

An example MXL, in famine-stricken Somalia where Somalis are hindering the relief aide, permitting thousands of their kin-folk starve and die…..the Republicans in this country observe this horror having no compassion for the poor of all ethnic groups, especially blacks, “they do it to their own, why shouldn’t we”!!  Question MXL, do you address/greet your family, friends and associates with the “n” word?  In order not to take the “easy way out” you just slide along with it’s usage…..guess so, you see no harm being done, now do you “my nigga”?

And when Brothers like me endeavor to take aggressive stands against this detrimental racial foolishness and say, “Enough is enough!!”  As we attempt to fight against this foolishness, promulgated our enemies; our voices are muted and we are negatively portrayed as racial antagonists; while those truly destructive voices, of those negative, antagonistic racists and racial enablers (Judas’) are at the same time amplified through dysfunctional media megaphones; and those most detrimental to our people are both portrayed and publicized, as virtuous.

As I try to introduce to our people and to the world a weapon/book (Niggerology 101: The Basic Nigger Lesson Plan), which is intended to assist Afrikan Souljahs in the war against this destructive foolishness; even those avenues and channels which are “supposedly” designed by Afrikan leaders, to open the lines of communications to our and between our people, that we may communicate; in actuality stifle the voices of warriors and inadvertently promulgate, publicize and popularize the voices, the destructive images, and the dangerous ideologies of our adversaries.

To answer the question as honestly and as thoughtfully as I can, I would have to say no!  Black rappers are not the ones to blame when White rappers speak the words nigger or nigga.  Negative Black rappers, are in actuality both the victims and the tools (weapons) of the racists; adroitly utilized by the racists in the racial war against Afrikan people.  Unconstructive Black rappers are not representative of Afrikan people, are not concerned about Afrikan people and are not in the leadership roles of Afrikan people.  Detrimental Black rappers are nothing more than tools of propaganda and Judas’, which have sold their souls for their thirty pieces of silver.

If we as a people are looking to place culpability for White rappers utilizing the words niggers and niggas; we need not look any further than our own mirrors.  Disadvantageous apathetic attitudes, condoning and patronizing behaviors, and our passive or reactionary inactions are the foundations which bring about our weakness as a people.  I blame Afrikan people for allowing themselves to be participatory in those things which cause them to be pathetic and weak.  Look at other races of peoples.

Sadly, the dysfunction hip-hop culture specifically has become the lens through which the rest of the world views black culture generally, and that includes the use of the use of the n-word. I’ve never understood why ours was the only race of people who casually refer to one another as racial epithets.  I’m not saying that only members of hip-hop use the word, but certainly hip-hop has done more to normalize and glamorize the slur than any other cultural influence.  It has gotten to the point that we now make the ludicrous demand that others stop using word, but we won’t demand the same thing of the young (and old) black people around us who use it.  It’s like an abusive man getting upset if someone else hits his wife, but then proceeds to beat her up every night.  We can do better.

F the White Actor and F the White Rapper !  They want to make this socially acceptable. And we all are to Blame. We are some Punk Ass Parents !!!!! Who will except anything from these White Niggers

If Jewish kids were using the k word, or Italian kids were using the w word, or Chinese kids were using the c word, eventually others would start to use it. Hip-hop has taken the use of the n word internationally to the point that a young person, would not know the dehumanizing effect that it was used, and the danger that comes with it.  As Dr. Frances Cress-Welsing says, we are asking, “What’s going on?” cause, we are no longer deep thinkers.  The hip-hop beat appears to be dumbing us down.  The way we have handled this word, makes it a joke on us.
