Should Children be Dancing Like this? (Video)

Watch this video as children who appear to be just two or three years old are doing dances that most adults would not do.  If a child is doing this kind of thing in public, should their parents be dealt with?  What happens to the child in adulthood?

the parents of these little babys should be ashamed of themselves. what parent would want thier child to dance like that, looks like early stripping career.

One day soon, Black ninja assassins will put a end to this foolishness.

    this is not right

  • Samdromeda

This type of dance started in Arabia and continues today and may even predate the Arabs. It is a dance of enticement. It is usually done by the men and is taught by the men to their daughters. Much like belly dancing it is taught and passed on from generation to generation. But in recent years it is being taught to cheer leaders and displayed on the internet. There is the wedding dance, which I think is being done less in the Arab world,
in which the mother of  the bride and the brides maids take the groom into a private room and the bride does the dance of  enticement nude before the bride groom. For little children this dance is way out of context and some of its applications are deviant.

  • Samdromeda

It may be a stretch but this could be classified as child porn as it could draw pedophiles even though it appears to be just family fun.Children are cultural three dimensional holographic tape recorders. But they are not holograms they display the reality of their experiences  by reproducing it.I am sure that in this video it was an expression of joy with with parental encouragement and approval. There appears to be even an element of shock and awe. Who has plumbed the depths and vastness of a child’s mind?

    • Gweny

I totally agree with you Samdromeda. Pedophiles fed off this type of junk. No doubt to many music videos being watched in that household.

    • Vernhand

      I agree 100 percent.

    • 1eyedsnake

      Agreed.

    • blkgalusa

I agree…The parents of this children need to be locked up and child protective services should be called in as well as the police.  This video needs to be sent to the police dept. in the city that this video was taken.

    • Adivat30

I agree it could draw pedophiles or worse . . . family members or “friends” who are watching this mess.  This is so distrubing that adults would think that this is OK, laugh and video it.

    • Triece19

You are absolutely correct. It is child porn and should always be treated as such. We have got to take our children back even from the ignorance of their parents. Life is hard enough without the extra. What we really need to do is start putting on the tv, in movies and billboards strong, intelligent and uplifting role models for all of our kids. We have to do what we have to do, to get where we want to be.

  • Mzzmo

that’s just awful. when will black folk get themselves together? the parents need to be taken out and horse whipped. these babies are what i see grown up in high school and out of control with equally out of control, but now older parents.

    • Paula

I don’t want to go too far of topic, but why is it that when some foolishess happen in the black community, right away people start making comment like; Blacks have  to do this or do that! First of all the whole of the Black community was not there! The whole of the Black community don’t know this family! Therefore, the blame for this unbelievable nonsense falls on the PARENTS of the children! Is a disgusting display of nonsense that was posted on the internet, and is  will be forever pass around, and that is heart breaking for those very young girl! And The PARENTS should have charges brought again them, but please Black people let stop beating ourselves up for something that we as whole had nothing to do with! You don’t hear other community condemning the whole of their community because of the action of some in the community! Be outrage, condemn it, yes, but don’t say things like; if only the Blacks people can get their act together that this wouldn’t had happen! No, it w0uld had happen anyway, because it was up to the PARENTS to not let this madness happen and not to have place it on the WORLD WIDE WEB!

      • Mzzmo

first of all when asking the question of as to the why black folks can’t get themselves together,  is not condemning the whole black community. maybe i should have prefaced my question with “why can’t SOME”. by the way it is not foolish to make a statement such as this. with that said,  there does  seem to be in certain communities where this would be considered harmless, innocent fun because the children involved are “young and cute”. yes parents are their children’s  protectors and teachers and should know better. unfortunately that is not always the case.  i work in such a community where this would be considered quite normal. i see it in my classroom when students think that it is okay to call each other b’s , ho’s, niggas etc. to even think that giving someone a simulated lap dance is acceptable. yes, i said it and i’ll say it again: when will black folk get themselves together?

  • Student

Wow..Can you say “Child Protective Services”.  The sad part is not even the babies dancing, its the people recording it and cheering them on.  How sick….Disgusting….Then they wonder why kids are pregnant at 13…Wow…all I can say is wow…Prayer is needed all over…

    • Samdromeda

They dance like this even in foster care. Child Protective Services just becomes another link in the chain. Unless you have wise protective resources within the extended family backed up by juvenile court judges, you cast your children to the wind. The hired help does not care for the sheep or your children. They are in it for the money like Michelle Bachman. Big bucks to be made in that industry. But the end goal is to turn out viable citizens,. The child is cut loose at 18 often not knowing how to proceed with their lives. There are some successes but as a whole it cannot replace a sound healthy and unified family.

    • Ilovethelord

I say amen to you student.  I can not believe that the mother who is the one who probably recorded this or maybe not is standing by letting her babies get solicited like this and in front of all those sickos cheering them on.  Makes me want to vomit and take those girls into my care.  Too ignorant to know that the are setting those 2 precious little innocent girls up on a platter for child molestors and preditors probably in the crowd of the ones laughing and cheering.  Lord please forgive them for they know not what they do.

  • Anonymous

I could barely stomach the beginning of the video let alone the shear ignorance of the “adults” that were encouraging this act to continue. Who would be proud of their child dancing like this?
I swear that it seems like the community keeps slipping further and further down the ladder of self respect everyday. People like this, that encourage disrespectful acts such as this and don’t live up to the intellectual potential of even high school graduates, need to be erased from the gene pool.

    • Kdrumb

Firstof all..it is not “the community” that is doing or condoning this. It is these individual parents/families.  Stop falling in that trap/follishness of pretending that the “Black Community” is this huge monolithic non-thinking, reactive creature.  For ever group of goofballs doing this type behavior I’ll show you an equal number that lar simply living their lives in a nondisruptive, positive fashion.

I, along with my friends and family, refuse to be judged and lumped in with the lowest common denominator.  If you do so, that’s your choice..

      • Anonymous

        Kdrumb;

What you and so many of us (Afrikans) must first begin to understand is that term (word) “monolithic”  is probably one of the most “misused clichés” that Afrikan people use; especially when they ashamedly say that we are not a monolithic community.  Monolithic means large, enormous and uniform.

In the world view, we are an enormous group of people, who have been taught by those in the minority that we are a minority, and our spiritual and physical uniformity is what caused them to oppress and enslave us as a people.  I love our uniformity, cherish our uniformity and wish that more of us would learn to celebrate our uniformity!

Secondly, I have failed to see one comment that even suggest; that we as a group are participatory in, or condoning of this type of behavior.  In fact, each commentary has been contemptuously critical of the dysfunctional actions of a few.  You say that we are not “monolithic”
but, your subliminal recognition of an assault on us as a people prompted a monolithic communal response of protectiveness for the group.

And finally, for the most part we have (been taught to) become a reactionary people; only rising up in anger and disgust, after the crimes have been committed against us as a people.  Niggerology (Willie Lynch) demands that we be “apathetically” reactionary.  Why else would Afrikans continuously permit the incessant dysfunctional cultural assaults on the Black mind by BET (Black Evil Television)and allow The Cartoon Channel to celebrate niggers
and niggas by inculcating this vile word into the minds of our youth (kill them before the grow)?

We must look at the images adults love to look at and emulate….Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, and check out the growing trend of little girl beauty pagents on tv now.  Check out the parents in the audience coaching them on and piling on make-up and spending hundreds for adult baby clothes. Many children are in big trouble because the parents are f—ed up!

  • Gloria

Sad, sad, sad and we laugh? Jail is not the answer for most of these parents don’t know any better themselves. We as a people have to somehow take back our children!! however, the really sad part is how do we do it? Those of us who are aware of the harm must stop fighting between ourselves and do something, our children are not a political statement they are our future!!!!!!!

    • Samdromeda

First we must build character in our children.” Do what I do and learn from what I teach you.” Children should enjoy sharing their lives with their parents. Research together with your children what you do not know. It shows them how to acquire truthful information. Teach them global analysis, seeing things over, under, around and through and looking for cause and affect. What you want for the building of a viable community must be infused into the children and this is done in the university called family. If you did not know this, God is family. That is why we are called sons of God. Fathers teach their sons and mothers teach their daughters how to love their husbands. This is not a precept that limits anyone in it’s understanding. But it is in harmony with a clear resolute and well designed purpose which is to raise individuals who can enter the Family of God and rule this planet. Earth the Capital of The Universe. The stars shall call and the earth shall answer. We as individuals, mankind, are the pinnacle of God’s creation. He desires to make us immortal so that we can bring joy harmony and ever increasing achievement to this universe and dimensions and universes to come. But it starts with knowing that we are and why we are here. Who we are is an ever developing masterpiece. It is reproduced in each child.

I am totally embarrassed by this and I am disturbed and appauled…It is amazing that grown person is video tapping it and they think its cute!  its beyond all bounds!

  • MsToyaTiffany

This is child porn. How could an adult sit there and record this. I feel so sad for these children because they are going to grow up thinking this is normal behavior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pcblst

I would hope that the parents of these children could be identified by this video by someone and reported to child protective services.  These parents are in serious need of parenting classes.

  • Vernhand

I’m appalled I can’t believe the adults for letting this happen.

  • chasey

There really is nothing for me to say as I agree with most of the comments below. A “cute” dance would be the kids doing the “dougie”.  The young baby girls in the video were gyrating like I’ve never seen before.  I am at a loss for words and really hate to think of the type of environment/community that the children are growing up.  How can any adult think that it is cute for exploit these babies. What are we going to do?

  • Prinzez

Children see, Children do.  Then we wonder why the courts are saying that parents should be held responsible for the actions of their children.  This is neglect.  I pray that this gets in the hands of the law and the parents get arrested and hopefully there is someone decent enough in the Family to steer them correctly.  The Children are really innocent.

  • brenna

No, young girls or boys should not be dancing like that…but at some point public schools will be blamed for bad parenting…it is  disgrace..

  • Chance

These babies are only doing what they see their mothers doing. They learn by watching. The adults don’t know anything about being parents themselves because if they did it wouldn’t be “amazing” how accurately their babies could imitate them and they wouldn’t feel the need to record it. This IS a community issue because we have to stop disassociating ourselves from those who shame us and try to educate our young brothers and sisters. CPS isn’t the answer because that is a white institution created to further break up black homes.

And, the dastardly dysfunctional lessons of
Niggerology persist; as the descendents of Afrikans continue to succumb to the
    centuries’ old, premeditated plan of the racists, to re-create Afrikans;
turning them into niggers and niggas.
Disgusting, dysfunctional, dastardly deeds disastrously doom us as a

This is not only sad it is out right child abuse and exposure for this child to be harmed by someone who has a sick mind, this is unexceptionable and merely a sign that they need parenting skills and have no business with a child, there is apparently no stability or parent in the household that is teaching this little girl about respect, morality and Self Love as any parent with a right mind should do for their children, as parents we do not receive a handbook on how to raise our children and I would only say it is based on common sense and knowing what is in the best interest of the child and the meaning of right and wrong. I am sad for this little girl because she is in a environment that will forever lead her into a life of no where because she does not have the proper balance and parent support that will allow her to break what ever cycle that she is a product of.

WHAT COUNTRY ARE THESE CHILDREN FROM?, OR SHOULD I SAY WHERE ARE THEIR PARENT’S FROM. SICK, SICK SICK. PLEASE SEND THIS VIDEO TAPE TO THE FBI.  BEFORE THIS BEHAVIOR CONTINUE.

ADULTS,  THESE ARE CHILDREN EVERY SECOND, A CHILD IS KILLED DUE  PEDOPHILES.  SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE ADULTS.

    THANK YOU.

Now when an old dirty rotten stinking ass pedophile eases up on and has sex with one or both of your little children behind this enticement, you funky ass ignorant MFs better not start whining and crying about what happened to “My babies!”  You ignorant SOBs need to be bull whipped yourselves for being so stupid and introducing your children to this kind of madness and then filming it as if you think the world thinks it’s cute, because believe me it’s not.

  • LisaL

What happens to the child in adulthood the good doctor ask….they don’t make it because they will be pregnant at 12.  How sad that adults taped this obviously not realizing that it’s completely inappropriate.  But why should they think it is….someone taught them to dance that way.

  • Zuiderdame

    absolute appalling

  • Ruthparks69

All of you black people that have made comments are the same as those that stood there and watched. You will do nothing but talk to each other about things that displease you, take your philosophical ideas and shuffle on off thinking you are better than. There are enough of you making comments to have an effect. If nothing other than to see that stories and videos such as this are not shown. These children are being exploited by the adults present, those watching and filming the video, and the media that approved and posted this on sight. I am reporting this as an abusive posting, I need not bother with what you black people will do.   I already know, the usual, talk, WATCH , DANCE, and SING ALONE.

    • Samdromeda

Those who stood there and watched were family. Who are you?

    • Mzzmo

      and what will you do?

  • Adivat30

Disgusting. There is NOTHING cute about this. . . the parents or whoever filmed this should be jailed. . . it is one step away from child porno.  SICK!

  • AnthonyII

Clearly these children should not be dancing like this.  They don’t know better.  They’re only seeking the approval of parents who don’t know better, and so on, and so on…
Keeping it real, how many other behaviors can we say children this age might mimic while seeking the approval of parents (or other “role models” who fill the void), not knowing better.  Slingin? Domestic abuse/violence? Others?  Not to be judgmental b/c this is a community challenge. Everyone’s not acting out like this but once it becomes a norm of sorts, it’s a difficult cycle to break.
Sure it begins in the home. Parents need to be held accountable to and for their children, but let’s not be too quick to totally absolve the likes of a BET,or Viacom, who hide behind the claim of providing entertainment, while filling the void.
As it relates to parenting, there’s an old saying that seems to hit home here:  “Much more is caught than is taught.”  In cases like this, if what’s being caught is the same thing that’s being taught, these children face a steep uphill climb, unless of course the examples being set are of a more positive and productive element.

  • Blood2010

It’s a shame adults would permit children to act in this manner under there supervision. This tells alot about what the child is exposted to.

  • Dhicks1962

Unbelievable!!!!! I bet the mother was taping this…Kind of shows what the future holds for them…Their parents probably have taught them how to say their names, what their address is, abc’s, or counting past five…

  • Shell Fish

Shameful….plain shameful……….Arrest the parents….where did they pick this up from….Nasty and shameful!

  • http://twitter.com/Snoopy324 Charles

    anyone consider the culture factor???

    • Samdromeda

There seems to be a transculturalization of hypersexualization transmuted into every sector of life. It is so pervasive that it is its own language of social acceptance and a gauge for sizing up, if not measuring, the worth of potential mates. The end result is emptiness and loneliness as high numbers crap out of marriage after having applied the wrong standards for evaluating the suitability of  a potential mate. The same false standards are easily transmitted to younger generations and perpetuates  the same destructive pattern. Part of social cohesiveness is communicated in the dance. Never give a sword to a man who cannot dance. Never giver a check book to a person who has no balance. One cannot become one with the community until one can loose oneself  in the circle of the dance that is community and family. The two little girls who danced in the video have mastered that which is deemed an achievement worthy of social acceptance even if it appears that it is not within the broad scope of their cognitive and qualitative comprehension. But then again approval of ones elders feels good, especially when one is performing what one has just learned.

      • Mzzmo

you know, you’re not the only one that can research. no where that i’ve looked said that this type of dancing is practiced because it encourages social acceptance nor said that BABIES are taught and trained. and let’s be for real, these little babies were dancing because their stupid, no-nothing parents thought it was cute.

        • Samdromeda

Social acceptance begins in the family.  They had to have someone to copy and emulate. It could even be someone on T.V.Research is not just done at the library. it is also being observant within the social milieu of the local community. The dance begins in the family circle. In practice social acceptance is implied in the response of the elders. It shows whether they approve or not. Self esteem is fortified with the approval of the elders. The minions beyond this do not count.

    • Samdromeda

Dance is a part of every culture. This particular dance comes from the Middle East. Add a little funk with some base and fun is had by all. The original context is much more private. And in some cultures prohibited except for the well connected. From my limited research in other cultures this style of dance is done by men in an all male setting or men’s clubs. Which clearly indicates an element of deviant application.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_TK6BLIZ5GECAAXLJCR2VNW7BNQ Mau-ee

This is the result of children having children. I would bet that these are teenaged mothers-& think that this behavior is “cute”.  Where is the grandmother?  Probably partying herself since she is only in her early thirties! This is why in the Black community education should be emphasized as soon as a child can comprehend what a parent or caregiver is saying.  These little beautiful Black girls seem to be directed toward a life of stripping!  I hope that someone will intervene & guide them to do something constructive & use their mind-instead of their body!

    • Samdromeda

There are many who do not know the power of parenthood. Children learn how to be by how we are. We are not two dimensional beings. Every aspect of who we are is emulated in mind and body. Every nuance is noted and communicated from the core of the being. People recognize you from seeing your fore bearers in you. Mau-ee, write a expose on it. There is much more here than meets the eye. I am sure the good Dr. would be willing to help.

  • Jazzy 78

Yes, it was very difficult to watch. Suggest calling Children Services is not the answer. That’s what the white man wants!  Why not talk to the mothers (if they will listen) and show them ways to climb out the hell hole they are in.  Ask them what dreams they had/have for themselves.  All women have dreams. Listen to them. I bet no one has taken the time to talk with them.  Talk with the children.  They would love to have someone ask them what they would like to be when they grow up.
The bottom line…..give them a chance!

  • Zconway

I can’t even watch the video.  This is the second one I’ve seen with small children, bumping behinds.  The adults were encougaging this mess!  It is very shameful.

Child protection needs to called in on this!! Because there is is know telling what adult  males or young boys have seen them dancing this way. And we live in such a sick world now. I would be one bit suprise that someone will try to molest them!!!! This dancing is truly sending a wrong message to these young babies.

  • Marcusdavis40

To be a parent and allow your own children to parade about like this while other adults are filming it is the epittamy of pure ignorance. The parents of these poor kids have absolutley no sense whatsoever and ought to be locked up.

This video is repulsive.  Why parents would think having their bikini-clad toddlers/elementary school-aged girls gyrate so wildly is funny/entertaining is beyond me.  This video is a sex predators dream.  Sadly, it is yet another example of how young girls in this country are sexualized at an alarmingly early age.  No child should be subject to the indignity of being made jerk and gyrate so wildly with an adult behind the camera and pointing it squarely at her crotch.

  • T682

I’m going to be honest and say that I did not watch this because the still of the video was sicking so I knew the video was not going to be good. There are no words for parents encouraging this sort of behavior. I teach first grade and last school year I had a little girl who would “rock up” suggestively all the time(lunch line, recess…). I constantly had to tell her to stop but I figured she learned this and was encouraged to do this at home. When these girls end up as teenage moms their parents are so surprised. We as a community have to allow our children to be children and stop encouraging them to be so grown.

  • Clarke

and…. nobody was arrested? I bet $5 this was Louisiana..

  • TheObserver

The f—in PARENTS should be arrested and thrown under the jail.  The children should be taken from them, and the “so called adults” that are encouraging them should be horse whipped and then thrown in jail.  It’s people like this that need to be eliminated from their ethnicity, because the keep the ‘NIGGER SYNDROM” going.  They are worthless and have no motivation to do the right thing.  It means nothing to them that their little girls will be grabbed and raped by someone that thinks that they are provoking it.  These type of parents need to be totally responsible for their actions, and I mean SEVERE PUNISHMENT.  They are mentally abusing these little girls that are only doing what you’re teaching them.   May you burn in hell, seriuosly!!!!!

  • ianmendoza

My wife and I viewed this clip and it pained us to see what parents/guardians are subjecting these babies to.
Some time ago someone in my country stated that some parents are breeding bandits, criminals and prostitutes. Lots of people became upset. When I saw this clip I know that he is speaking the truth.
How do we of  the so called 20% who know where we are as a people save the generations to come. This the size of the challenge we have as our brothers and our brothers’ chlidren keeper.
How do we start to tackle this cancer that is hellbent on destroying black lives in the womb and in the cradle.
How do we get into the minds of these parents that they can see a brighter future
How can we prepare a future for these badies that they they can set goals to reach.
When can we as a people join in corporate prayer to pray that God have mercy on us as a race.

  • Samdromeda

We must be aware of the power of a child’s mind. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. Lay a rock solid foundation and never assume that they are too little to learn. Learn your child’s style of learning and feed in good things that will enable them to thrive in this world. The Kingdom of God is made up of individuals who have minds and characters like children…Receptive and teachable. But no one can teach what one has not learned. The promise is that they will be taught of God. Unless the parents learn to live by every word that comes from the mouth of God they will not have what they need to teach and prepare their children for life. Some think that children hit 18 years of age and course through life on auto-pilot. When they hit this age they will find themselves evaluating what was given them from their elders.

Fo the life of me I cannot understand what anyone would get out of seeing children act like strippers and prostitutes. It is disgusting that the “adults” would allow these kids to display such behavior. It is not cute nor funny. Im am so glad the MAJORITY of Black people do NOT behave this way. What is a severe problem is that we are NOT displayed appropriately to ensure the masses understand this. I have hope for the future and will do all I can to uplift US as a Proud people back to our True roots of dignity. If you feel the same way do the same. Each one reach one and teach one!

Amen to the comments below, just watching the beginning was enough for me to know I did not want to see the end.  What were they thinking to encourage this at any age.  We do appear to be slipping further down the ladder of self respect.  We need to do better!!!
