Rapper Shyne did the time, and Diddy paid the fine.
Sean “Diddy” Combs recently settled a civil case against him stemming from a shoot out at the no longer existing, Club New York in 1999.
Combs and former Bad Boy Artist, Jamal “Shyne” Barrow were entangled in the details of the shootout that injured three club goers and led to a nine year prison sentence for Barrow.
Details of the settlement are unclear but former owner of the club, Michael Bergos, reveals that the most seriously injured, Natania Reuben, received $1.8 million after being shot in the nose. The two other victims received $500,000 and $50,000.
Combs was cleared of all criminal charges, but faced civil charges once his insurance company went under. Barrow was deported to Belize after he was released.
